Yeah... that's like a half-mask under something else. Tear gas would still get to your eyes, unless that's tinted ballistic glass under it. Which would be cool. As for the thread topic, I will now drop some sick masks on your asses.

1. XM40 (prototype) 3M Corporation, c. 1990:
Recognize this, stalker? It's the mask used by the mercenary faction in all three games. It's like an M17 and an M40 met in a sleazy rest stop and had a lovechild. Technically speaking, it's the prototype made by 3M to convince the US Military to give them a contract to manufacture M40s, although the final design was changed.

2. A/P22P-14 (V)2, Camlock Aviation, c. 1990:
When the US Airforce needed a special NBC mask for fixed-wing aircraft pilots, they went to the Brits. Made by Camlock, a company based out of the UK, this features two filter capability, one of which hooks to the planes normal air supply, the other being operated by a pusher fan mounted on the filter. Other shit includes a built in microphone, full head coverage, making it the most comfortable military issue mask I've ever seen, and a standard hydration connection tube.

3. SGE 400/3, Mestell (Italian) c. 1990
This is a bitch ye shall not best. Mestell claims it can be worn for 3 straight days without discomfort. It's got 3 filter mount points (left, right, and center) and a seal so comfortable you'll get paranoid about if it's even working. The valve material is so responsive that airflow seems constant.

4. S10 Avon UK, c. late 80's
Anyone should recognize this one. If not for Resident Evil or even the SAS in Counter Strike, from just about any movie with SWAT in it. It's got a god-like reputation, and it deserves it. No one shall be unhappy, says this mask, smiling slightly, under it's smooth, shrapnel resistant voice amp doubling as the exhalation valve.

5. FM50, c. THE FUTURE MOTHERFUCKERS
This shit is tight. It's not even in issue yet. (Btw, when they do, I will kill Kimchi for his). Dual filters standard, with the fact that when you remove them, the valve closes off, so you don't have to carry around plugs or some shit like that. Hydration is standard. Enough vision that it looks like safety goggles. These things could kill your mother, but they wouldn't, because they're so friendly and nice. Until someone starts fucking about. Then anuses will be smited.
