Hello newcomers to Total Non Stop - Gaming.

I'm making this thread to guide you through a problem we often see on our applications
to become a member of TNS.

The Steam ID is often misunderstood by newcomers, as your steam login username or your steam name.
The correct Steam ID we need should look like this: STEAM_X:X:XXXXXXXX (X=Numbers)

There's 2 different ways to find the correct Steam ID for your member application.

Type in your Steam Username
(the one you login into steam with)

Or copy paste your Steam profile link.
Ex: http://steamcommunity.com/id/"Your Steam Username here"

Find your Steam ID in-game

First we need to activate your in-game console
this can be done in your Steam Library as shown below.

Right click on your game (in this example Garrys mod)
and click Properties.



Click on Set Launch Options



Type in: -Console like shown below



Now launch your game,
and join a Multiplayer Server.

When you're on the server,
find your console. (Press Esc) and
you will see it in the menu.

Type: Status




Press Enter and your Steam ID will appear like shown below.
