This is a notification for anyone making a donation for the future. Our donation system seems a bit complicated, but it really is not. For a while now, since I've taken more control over the donations, people have not been using this system as it is designed. I thought something broke on our end but it ended up being the donators failing to do what is needed to complete the donation.

To donate you go to the Donate Now link under the Donations NavTab at the top of the website, or you can use the Contribute Now link off the donation goal bar.

From there it will ask you want you want to donate. The defaults are whats on the Donation Perks Listing, so check that page for what each one give you. You may manually enter any amount, but the defaults are our more popular donation numbers.

After that it takes you to PayPal. This goes directly to PayPal's website. The only thing that happens here is our website tells PayPal what you put in the Donation Amount box. Then the website's are no longer connected so anything you enter after this point is secure and on PayPal's website and not ours. Once you complete PayPal's instructions and the payment is processed. We have instructed PayPal to redirect you to our website. They do not tell us you've donated yet. What ends up happening here is the inital form you filled out before going to PayPal adds your UserName, date, IP, and amount to a table. This allows management (and only management) to view who has used the donation system. You also get a copy of what we have in the first PM. Then next, the website constantly checks the PayPal account for the donation amount to match up with the IP used. This is what confirms your donation on our website.

Now this next step is where most everyone is failing. Once your donation is confirmed, you get another PM telling you its confirmed, we also tell you to fill out a form. This form is for management to process the donation and give you your perks. Since I've been taking over the donations I've taken the extra step and confirming and processing the information manually. THIS WILL NO LONGER HAPPEN. I cannot spend hours processing donations. If you fail to fill out the confirmation PM's form, you will not recieve any donation perks. I am sorry but I am no longer willing to waste management's time trying to track down donations.

Once you fill out that last form, it sends a message to management saying you donated, your amount, and it also generates a set of managment links to make your setup sooooo much easier.
