Leviathan was founded in 2008 by a man named "James Victor McKinnley"(Sheo)
McKinnley was previously a General of a shadow regiment that branched off of special forces. Most of the information after he became a corporal was classified, other than his rising through the ranks almost supernaturally quickly. On November 6th, 2004 he became immortalized as a war hero when invading Russians hit the Alaskan coastline in the Battle for the Bering Strait. McKinnley and his his platoon of men were outnumbered by a record that military historians estimate at 7-1. Orders came by radio to retreat to the Alaskan mainland, but McKinnley risked his and his men lives by staying on the island and withstanding the initial air strikes, and then launching a counter attack against the oncoming Russian forces. McKinnley and his company withheld minimal casualties and imparted severe losses to the enemy until air support from California came in and forced the Russians back across the strait. McKinnley was wounded in the battle. A precision launched missle struck a bunker that he was exiting, and the explosion disabled the use of his right arm. He was hospitalized immediatley after until a special ceremony where he and his remaining men were granted the medal of honor, and some, including McKinnley, the Purple Heart.
McKinnley, due do his severe injuries, was offered a job at the Pentagon. A desk job. McKinnley declined, and asked to stay with his company. He was honorably discharged from the military promptly afterwords. McKinnley grew bitter after his discharge, and acclimation to shooting left handed without the use of his missing arm was driving him mad. Until a group of Computer Engineers and Medicinal Scientists approached him. They offered to build him a new arm. One of polymer, and steel. McKinnley, made bitter from his losses, accepted, and in 2007 he was the first to recieve a fully functioning arm Prosthetic. Shortly after, McKinnley founded Leviathan, a Privatized Military Company where he was once again at the head of an elite company of soldiers. Only this time, he didn't have a flag behind him. There were no terms of engagement, there were no laws for him to follow in battle. Leviathan quickly gained several contracts around the globe, and got a reputation for being a deciding factor in any war. Leviathan is now a multibillion dollar corporation with training facilities across the globe, but the head quarters... Is right here in Downtown.
Our Mission
Leviathan is a Privatized Military Company. This, in short hand, means we're Mercenaries. This means that we garner contracts to protect VIPs, Raid Compounds, Secure an Area of Conflict, anything that needs a highly trained soldier that doesn't have a flag, Leviathan is the company that is hired. In most cases Leviathan contracts itself to the highest person currently in power, be this the Mayor, The Chief of Police, or anyone that has money, and wants an elite, invisible task force to do it's dirty work. We are not bound by moral, we are not bound by law, we are Leviathan.
