Someone already touched on this but the way DayZ is setup it's not social outside of the game and people don't really care who is hosting the servers.

Kinda like BF3 issue we had.... No one playing gave a rip who hosted the server. They just jumped from server to server, and DayZ is much worse since you are interacting more with the Zombies than other players.
