Last month Nvidia's Project Shield Android handheld got a shortened name, a release window of June, and a $349 price tag. With June quickly coming to a close, the Shield is coming in hot on June 27, with $50 knocked off the price to sweeten the deal. Customers that have already pre-ordered the handheld gaming system will be charged $299 when the system ships. What do you guys think?

For those who do not know what the Shield is, it is a Handheld Android gaming device capable of playing full fledged PC games via. WiFi streaming (Basically VNC, but with low latency).

I need to see it in action before I would even consider buying this thing. The price is something that I think will drive people away. You can get a Vita for $249 or a 3DS for the same price. So why would you spend $100 more when you can just spend $50 more and get a PS4 once this thing goes back to $349.

3DS is only $160 and to be honest that is the best handheld system out right now
