    Possible cause of recent crashes.

    Now, a few times between.. I think 3:40 a.m. and 3:55 a.m. it crashed 2 times, now I noticed before BOTH crashes that someone's corpse seems to go berserk *as in, it flies around the map/room at extreme speeds uncontrollably, could just be a coincidence, but I doubt that. I also noticed that on some map very few weapons seem to still give off lua errors after behind picked up with a magneto stick, then used *I can thank Cyan for putting that idea into my head* So, I'm wonder, is it all just a coincidence? Client side? glitch? or is it a cause of the crashes?

    Edit: I forgot to add, Nanodash was there and saw atleast 1 of the times that it happened.

    Edit#2: If you happen to come across the lua error'd weapon, you can just drop it and pick it back up to fix it.

    That sounds hilarious; I wish I was there to see it.

    Seriously, though, I think you may be onto something. From my experience, ragdolls are one of the biggest lag- inducing things out there, and one that is spamming the server with physics data is sure to cause a overload.

    Lua errors almost never crash servers. However, the ragdoll thing could be behind the crashes as the one error I saw in the log seemed to be related to physics glitching out in the small amount of research I did. Have you guys noticed a cause behind these crazy ragdolls?

    Funny thing is that most of the night it never crashed. Is the ragdoll happening on the same map? Because it's very very random it seems this happens.

    I see it crash plenty at night o.O and no, its on different maps. More than just one. and Arma, I did notice *but hate to say it* its happened to me twice after being killed by a katana. Could also just be another coincidence tho.

    I can testify that this does in fact happen, and it is the cause of server crashes, disableing all custom cosmetic items fixes it, including skins/ps point shop shit/ ect,

    Thats unlikely, because TNS has never had this glitch prior to the most recent update. That and.. the skins/PS items have no hitbox or collision.

    May not be likely, but I literally dealt with this same issue around 2 weeks back. It fixes it for sure. Believe me if you want to, but it's an issue with the ragdoll physics.

    Yep I noticed this also, I had tossed Mikhail's corpse into the barn teleporter on 67th_way and it started going berserk and the server immediately crashed.

    I believe I mentioned this in the Watercooler Chat... With the custom content I only see it being a cause with the hats and trails disappearing on death and glitching out the model maybe due to parenting issues... But don't take my word on that as I honestly have no clue... It's hard to tell what causes it as it looks completely spontaneous...
