I enjoy the Golden Gun rounds and the D vs T, but like pretty much everybody has said the random object round needs to be revised or removed. But instead of using random props? Why not get some crazy player models from the workshop or garrysmod.org and maybe even have it so doners can even pick what models they want before the special round? As for the Golden gun round the only real problem is the fake Golden gun jump, but other than that its really fun. But like nooblet suggest we should have some sort of info window that pops up during the prep time of the 6th round. Then have a count down before the round actually starts. TTT really needed something else to spice up game play and this really gave it.

I have to agree to remove the special rounds. There are a lot of players that do not enjoy the special rounds. If you're actually on the server when they happen, there's a good 60%+ of players that say "Man I hate these special rounds". The worst one has to be the random object round. It confuses a lot of people, especially as to where the hit boxes are, and people are left blindly shooting all over the place. The worst models have to be the antlion guard and the horse statue models. However, the car models are annoying as well. The golden gun round might be kinda fun and neat the first couple times you see it, however after that it becomes more of an annoyance than anything. Golden gun rounds usually lead to a lot of rdming, and while that's obviously a problem that can be taken care of easily, it still ruins the round for a lot of players. Now, the majority of people don't even bother with the golden gun, and just toss them on the ground. Finally, the Traitor vs. Detective rounds. Those were also initially fun, but after a while it just doesn't hold the same appeal as it does the first time. In the end, it just feels like a type of team death match, rather than TTT. Like Vir said, people join the TTT server to play TTT, not TDM. I understand the people's concern for wanting a server that is different from the others, but that shouldn't mean we have to have "special rounds". If anything, we should focus more on donator items and benefits Again, the majority of people do not enjoy the special rounds, and find them more annoying than anything. And I'd rather not have 4 different people quote me on that and say "Well that's not true, a lot of people enjoy the special rounds" because that's coming from your personal view, and not the majority of people. Its one thing to be on every now and again and hear people say "Oh this is neat". Its another thing to be on the servers every day and hear people say, on almost every map, "Wow, these special rounds are fucking gay".

I'd say some info about the servers special rounds should be added to the motd to inform people new to the server about these rounds, along with some rules for them. We've all seen people cry "rdm" on the T vs. D rounds, and the Golden Gun rounds do tend to get a little...out of hand. I like them both, but the random prop rounds is a little on the dull side (despite the fact that I find it extremely easy and enjoyable to go on a shotgun spree when everyone is something big like a horse or buggy).

It is just a bit of fun, I don't see what the problem is that you can't enjoy it.

Special rounds is what gives our servers some spice, and I don't see them getting removed. BUT I do see that most people don't like the round where you may get turned into a large object. I thought it was fun when I played it, but maybe I just enjoy anything. I will talk with Arma about removing this round or tweaking it in some way.

I am not sure we can add a special screen or voting option for the round, but that is something Arma will have to look into.

The thing is that these "Special" rounds cause me to lose interest in the continuation of playing the server personally. Maybe I could have done a better job expressing that in my earlier messages, but I would rather make the thread and see who else agrees with me than sit around and everyone just tolerate them/it and never actually bring the topic up.

And if no one ever bitches and moans about how something is stupid or should be removed/changed progress never gets made, and then everyone sits there unhappy as no one realizes that nobody else actually likes it. Sure, that might be a dramatic way of looking at the course of events, but it's true.

The special rounds are fun according to most people ITT, you had the experience of playing a single special round and then immediately coming here to complain about it. If you would like to make better suggestions, I would suggest you play on the servers more so you can experience the other special rounds and then come here and complain about them.

He obviously didn't have fun, so telling him they're fun is redundant

The special rounds are fun for YOU, that is your opinion on the matter. It is quite obvious Honor does not like the special rounds and he has every right not to. Everyone has a right to post a thread on something that they want changed or give an opinion on something, you certainly have no right telling them that there opinion doesn't matter.

I personally do not care for the special rounds, more the prop changing one because all someone has to do is shoot,kill,win. Not really that fun when a giant horse out of 20 is shooting you and you have no idea which one it is.
