    Blue Screen of Death Help

Alright, so my brother's PC got the blue screen and I have absolutely no idea what the problem is, since I'm not all the educated in PCs and stuff. Basically when you boot up the PC it boots up until the "Welcome" screen then the blue screen shows. After that it restarts itself and and shows the screen where it says that "Windows didn't shut down correctly" and gives me the safe mode options. I hit safe mode and this screen pops up.

    Here is the blue screen

If anyone could help with what is going on that would be greatly appreciated.

So it will boot into Safe mode but nothing else? Have you tried doing a system repair or restore from safe mode?

Yeah. It will give me the option to boot to safe mode then nothing happens. I haven't tried doing a system repair or restore yet.

Likely a driver issue. Did he tell you of any event that probably caused this? I can't imagine it happening out of nowhere.

If you can boot into Safe mode and do a system restore I would try that first. It could be something he Downloaded or a site he visited that loaded something on to his computer that is doing this.

He just told me that he turned it on today and it just got a blue screen. I'll ask him again later if he updated any drivers.

Similar problem occured to my PC. The problem on my end was my GPU loosened itself from the computer. Not entirely sure in your case though.

The system restore worked. Apparently he updated his graphics card last night, so that might have caused it. Anyway, everything is fine now. Thanks for everyone's help!
