We have done Multi worlds before, so yes it can be done.

I agree with factions being a pain in the butt and people just get annoyed and leave. Also with factions before I am not sure we had the best admins, and they were creating some of the issues. Being bios and what not.

I was hoping to see some options like Voltz that we have never tried. My self likes to just be able to build and not have anyone come along and grief it. So please keep the ideas coming. There has to be a mod out there where you can build and not have stuff griefed but still have a reason to play.

We've had luck with Minecraft in the past, hopefully it does well again for us. Any mode works for me ^_^

I like voltz! Just use forcefields and blast proof walling to protect your stuff! :P

Yeah, as I said, a multiworld would please just about everyone. Everybody in here saying they just wanna build with people without grief and share their builds can do that in a build warp world, while everybody who wants to fight in PVP or Factions can do that in a factions warp world. And I don't really know much about Voltz but there might be a way to disable the mod for all worlds except for the PVP world. There would be multiple warp zones and having this would ultimately keep people playing for a very long time. If you get tired of getting griefed in PVP, you can warp to a minigames world for fun. And we could even set up special monthly events like a Survival Games Tournament on one of the worlds.

I see this as the best option for pleasing everybody, I've helped with this sort of thing before and even done multiworlds on my own server. It's really cool.

I remember how these old MC servers went.

I don't even remember how many times minecraft has came and disappeared.

We should build separate castles far away from each other then roleplay a war between two kingdoms, rinse, repeat, add more castles, nations etc

Going to gather all the ideas at the end of today and build a poll that will be located in the new MC section. We will vote on it for 2 days and then the winning server will start to get built.
