Should be retitled:
"There's Bravery... Then there's stupidity."
Seriously, what the FUCK IS THIS SHIT!? Just looking at this photo makes me want to punch a fucking wall.
There's people who leave many things behind for a period of time and dedicate years of their life as well as risk it to protect whatever country that they are currently serving, and then there are these pieces of shit who hate their lives and feel the need to cut themselves then think they're BRAVER than the soldiers who are actually fighting and dying to keep them safe.
Cutting yourself isn't bravery, it is an act of self-pity. Carrying on despite how bad your situation may be is brave, but is not even close to being equate to risking your life.
As wrong as self-mutilation is, it is not bravery and should NEVER be thought as that.

Those emo POS's think that they are braver then the soldiers who VOLUNTARILY, throw themselves into the fires to fight for them in addition to other people that they have never met? Sigh. Good people die so that these idiots can live.

Aside from what others have said, it's a really fucking selfish thing to do. I will admit, occasionally I do consider self-harm in some form. But I don't. Why? Because you don't just hurt yourself. Everyone you know will see it. Your parents will worry about if they did something wrong. If they messed up. Your friends will think that you are either being hurt by someone else, or that they caused you to do this. It's not brave, it's not an intelligent coping mechanism. You think you have to feel the pain of it, but physical pain goes quickly. The real pain goes to those around you, who never asked for it. That's who it really harms.
I had a gif of a refrigerator here, but someone stole it.

You are not brave if you cut yourself... You are brave for refusing to cut yourself and facing your problems... By facing your problems you excel yourself... Slit that wrist and you have succumbed to cowardice in the most basic form by giving up without a fight... Probably the first fucking rule in the book of bravery and all the warrior codes in existence...
Brave
1. possessing or exhibiting courage or courageous endurance.
2. making a fine appearance.
3. Archaic. excellent; fine; admirable.
noun
4. a brave person.
5. a warrior, especially among North American Indian tribes.
6. Obsolete for:
a. a bully.
b. a boast or challenge.

I was gonna make a sarcastic post about the positioning of the soldiers in the picture, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I can't even bring myself to comment how I really feel about this, as I will more likely than not get banned for what I say.
I will say this: I hate this generation of people and the one following it. I don't care if everyone isn't like this. Its the ones that are that get all the attention, and that's even more fucked up..
=TNS-P= Petrol: Kimchi is one of those people that when I ask myself what he would do, I have to think "no, I'm in public."

Emo girls are usually hawt, and freaky in bed, quite fun really, some people turn to cutting, others turn to drugs or just man the fuck up. But as for courage... You can't have it if you cut yourself like a coward. YOLT.
That is all.
