Work has started on another version of the Downtown Map: 1.1! In early Spring, the roleplay server will enjoy several new touches to the map, with several bug fixes and upgraded features.
What's planned?
- Faction-specific buildings, as requested for a long time
- Updates to the beach, making it more useful in terms of play and a larger component of the map
- Increased performance
- Revisiting the theater to improve function with the newly-installed YouTube mod, and improving the layout
- Increasing owl count
- Removing/redesigning some ugly houses no one ever uses
- Potential plans to replace the warehouse/residential section (leading to the main section; the beach section; and residential section) for better function
- Reduce harmful bugs and add in some insect bugs
- Redesigning spawn, also adding a help-board to make first-time experiences easier
Do you have any ideas?I'd be grateful to hear them! Post them in this thread so everyone has a chance to build upon it and cast their opinions. Be creative, but also be realistic. I'm not going to add a super laser turret that kills everyone outside your favourite building.
